Rich Dude, "Jake" - 2014 OTTB Gelding
Jake was April 16, 2014 out of Dawn in PA by That's Rich. He had 7 race starts, did not perform well on the track so retired to a be restarted as a hunter/jumper. Jake is a bay gelding with 2 hind socks, he stands 16.1HH.
He was being ridden by an adult amateur rider and shown in local shows before being turned back out to pasture after struggling to stay sound.
His owners invested in all the vetting they could, x-rays of pelvis and spine look good and will be provider to adopter. He may be sound enough for riding with the correct restarting and proper biomechanical work.
At this point we are offering Jake as pasture sound, barefoot, with no special needs. He is incredibly sweet and desperately wants to be considered useful. He has so very much to offer!

Jake at FENCE combined show
Jake trailed over to FENCE like a pro and was a quiet gentleman in his stall throughout the weekend! He made huge improvements in his dressage test!

Jake lives out with other geldings and is quiet and the middle of the herd. He's an easy keeper, no supplements, barefoot in the pasture. He loves people and really is looking for a human to offer him the brightest future!
