Jazzy was posted on Craigslist for sale with a foal by her side. Several people attempted to contact the "seller" with limited success. GAIT in MD opened a line of communication, and together, over the course of 2 months, we finally brought her to WHR.
The stressful transport day put her into a colic episode, and she was rushed to the emergency hospital. Her immense will to survive anything gave her a chance at an amazing future!

Jazzy took her rehab and refeeding very seriously! She thrived with proper care and nutrition and was allowed to grieve the loss of her colt.
She was allowed to graze and move as horses should, and she gained weight while gaining strenght.

When she was strong enough, she moved to GAIT in MD and is thriving, and will soon start under-saddle education with people trained and experienced in rehabbing gaited horses! We love being a part of her amazing life!
